# Your first PR check

Connect a repository, choose user journeys, and turn on PR checks.

## Before you start

You need a GitHub repository that deploys pull requests to a preview URL. Have a dedicated test account ready if your critical journeys require sign-in.

Installing the GitHub App does not enable checks. ColdVisit starts checking pull requests only after you turn on PR checks.

## Connect, explore, approve



1. Select Install on GitHub and sign in to ColdVisit. Grant the GitHub App access to the repository you want to protect.
2. Review the detected preview environment. If it is protected, provide and verify the bypass access requested during setup.
3. Explore the app. Proposed journeys appear while exploration is still running; you can begin selecting them immediately.
4. Select the journeys that matter. ColdVisit prepares their test steps in the background. Complete any request for test access or missing data.
5. Review the test steps, the account it will use, and where it stops before submitting data. Then approve the flow. Watch the initial run and inspect its result.
6. Turn on PR checks. You stay on Free with one repository and three approved flows. Start the optional 30-day Pro trial from Billing when you need more.

## After setup

Open Home for things that need attention and recent runs. Flows is where you manage coverage. Your run pages separate regressions from checks that could not run, and show the available browser evidence.
